Description

Day 1 : Arriving at Taipei Upon arrival in Taipei, a tour representative will transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After check-in, you will have your own leisure time in the afternoon exploring Taipei. Day 2 : Taipei – Sun Moon Lake Today, head to Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, Taiwan's largest freshwater lake, shaped like the sun and crescent moon. After lunch, visit the Ita Thao village, Ci’en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, and Wenwu Temple. Enjoy a guided bus tour to learn about the area's natural beauty and rich indigenous culture. Day 3 : Sun Moon Lake – Tainan – Kaohsiung Today, begin at Fort Zeelandia, a fortress built by the Dutch East India Company. Afterward, stroll down Anping Old Street for local snacks like tofu pudding and shrimp rolls. Post-lunch, head to Kaohsiung to visit Fo Guang Shan Monastery, home to a towering 36-meter Buddha. A monk will share insights into Buddhism. Day 4 : Kaohsiung – Kenting – Taitung After breakfast, visit Kenting National Park for its coastal geology. Explore Maopitou, Chuanfan Rock, and Eluanpi Lighthouse, then head to Taitung for a relaxing stay at Chihpen’s hot spring resort. Day 5 : Taitung – East Coast – Yilan After breakfast, explore Taiwan's east coast with stops at Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping, and Fanshuliao for stunning geological features like sea erosion terraces and picturesque canyons. End your day with an overnight stay in Jiaoxi, Yilan County. Day 6 : Yilan – Taipei Visit the King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery for award-winning whiskies crafted with pure mountain water. Then, explore Taiwan’s heritage at the National Center for Traditional Arts with exhibitions, performances, and workshops. Day 7 : Taipei – Yehliu – Jiufen – Pingxi Today, explore Taiwan’s north and northeast coasts. Visit Yehliu Geopark, famous for rock formations like the “Queen’s Head”, followed by Jiufen, a former gold mining village where you can enjoy local foods like Taro Balls. Then, visit Shifen Waterfall, and release sky lanterns at Shifen Station. Day 8 : Taipei Spend one day free & easy at your leisure to explore the city of Taipei. Day 9 : Leaving Taipei After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel lobby to the airport 4 hours before your flight departure.
