Café Dalida

Taipei is famed for being one of Asia's most gay-friendly cities. Hosting a memorable pride parade each year, as well as a number of glamourously infamous cross-dressing socialites, Taipei's ever-diversifying population makes it a remarkable city to visit. The Ximending district is known to be a favourite amongst Taipei's gay community and is, naturally, a colourful hive of late night activities - and of course, one of the best places in the city to enjoy a cocktail. At the centre of the outdoor plaza in Ximending, Cafe Dalida's neon lights lures passers-by in for flamboyant cocktails and good company.

Café Dalida is surrounded by all the shops, restaurants, and gay bars that the Red House Square is noted for, and also just a street away from the bustling outdoor markets of the Ximen district. This bar is really in the centre of it all. Go for a drink and get swept away.
