There are countless restaurants in Taipei that serve Western-style food, Grandma Nitti's was one of the earlier ones. Having been first opened in 1989, its business is still alive and well, surely a testament to its reputation. It is located in the thick of the well-known Shida area, perfect for expat students in Taipei learning Chinese (even walking distance from National Taiwan Normal University campus).
The menu has plenty of brunch items (waffles, pancakes, steak), salads, appetizers, hamburgers, sandwiches, pastas, and Mexican-style options. If wanting coffee with the meal, head to the second floor for a DIY all-you-can-drink coffee station, or simply order a latte. And of course check out the desserts.
