Japanese
Ninja is a themed Japanese restaurant, owned by the Taiwanese celebrity Makiyo, that offers as much fun as food. Although you're expecting to pay NT600-NT800 per person, Ninja certainly does offer value for money. Unlike many of Taipei's themed restaurants, at Ninja the attention to detail does extend beyond decor, to dining. A kimono-clad hostess escorts you to your table in the shared or private dining areas.
The waitresses, dressed in ninja-themed attire, serve platters of sushi, salad and bites from the Japanese barbecue - all presented in the way of the ninja, on samurai swords and such. Reservations are always required. During dining, guests can enjoy a risqué dancing duet, magician antics and watress challengers to win more to much on. Ninja restaurant is a must-do novelty, found on Civic Boulevard, Taipei, and nearest Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT station.
