The Formosa Yang-Mei Country Club is an 18-hole course located in the Yangmei area of Taoyuan County. It is a 45-minute drive from central Taipei, or 30 minutes from the Taoyuan International Airport. Formosa Yang-Mei plays long, at just less than 7,100 yards from the blue tees. It is a standard, Par-72 course. Golfers will find the 606-yard seventh hole as the most challenging on the course.
Facilities in the clubhouse include a restaurant, pro shop and full-service locker room. Formosa Yang-Mei has unfortunately developed a reputation as not being a foreigner-friendly course. Be sure to call ahead to ensure the course will allow you to play before heading out.
